Terms of Service

Welcome to Kabiri. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Kabiri website at kabiri.co and waitlist (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
"We", "us" and "our" mean Kabiri Workspace Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (No. 17140110), registered office Bartle House, Oxford Court, Manchester, England, M2 3WQ.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By signing up for our waitlist or accessing the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with your personal data - it is a notice rather than something you agree to, and nothing in it forms part of this contract.
If you are a consumer - that is, you are using the Site outside your trade, business, craft or profession - you have rights under consumer law that these Terms cannot take away. Nothing here affects those rights, and wherever these Terms and the mandatory consumer law of your country say different things, that law wins.
2. Nature of the Service
Kabiri is a unified workspace platform that brings your email, calendars, files, projects, notes, and messaging under one roof. The platform is currently in development. By joining the waitlist, you are expressing interest in being notified when the Service becomes available. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access to the Service or any particular features.
3. Waitlist
By submitting your email address to the waitlist, you:
- Confirm that the email address you provide is accurate and belongs to you.
- Consent to receiving your platform launch invitation by email, plus a short confirmation that you are on the list. That is the extent of it.
- Can leave the waitlist at any time. Every email we send carries a one-click unsubscribe link, which removes you immediately. You can also email privacy@kabiri.co to be removed or to have your details erased entirely.
Joining the waitlist means we will email you when Kabiri launches. It does not sign you up for anything else: we do not run a newsletter and we will not send you news, product updates or other marketing off the back of your signup. If we ever want to, we will have to ask you separately first, and you would be free to say no and keep your place on the list.
4. Intellectual Property
All content on this Site, including but not limited to the Kabiri name, logo, design, text, and graphics, is the property of Kabiri and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this Site without our express written permission.
5. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information when joining the waitlist.
- Use the Site only for lawful purposes.
- Not attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of the Site.
- Not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
6. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded - including, if you are a consumer, your statutory rights.
Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, data, use or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. If you are a consumer, we are liable for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these Terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill, but not for anything unforeseeable.
The Site is provided as it is while Kabiri is in development. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or withdraw it.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time - for example to reflect changes to the Service, or to legal or regulatory requirements. We will post the new Terms on this page and update the "Last Updated" date.
If a change materially affects you, we will give you reasonable notice by email before it takes effect, and you may leave the waitlist at any point if you would rather not accept it. We will not apply a change retrospectively.
8. Governing Law and Where Disputes Are Heard
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.
If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in, and it does not stop you bringing a claim in your local courts. If you live in the EU or EEA, you may bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you are domiciled, and we will only bring proceedings against you there.
